Accessibility statement
How we make this website accessible, and what to do if you find a problem.
Last updated: 1 November 2026
Our commitment
Balanced View wants everyone to be able to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we design the site to work on phones, tablets and computers, with a keyboard, and with assistive technology.
What we have done
- Every page has one main heading, a logical heading structure and a link to skip to the main content.
- Text, buttons and links are designed to meet the minimum colour contrast ratios, and keyboard focus is clearly visible.
- Images have text descriptions, and form fields have visible labels and clear error messages.
- Animation is kept to a minimum and is switched off for visitors who ask their device to reduce motion.
- We have tested every type of page with an automated accessibility checker and with a keyboard, on both phone and computer screen sizes.
Limitations
We have not yet had an independent accessibility audit. Some content, such as our WhatsApp chat and the client portal, is provided by other organisations and opens outside this website, so we do not control its accessibility. If we find a problem, we will fix it as quickly as we reasonably can.
Tell us about a problem
If you find something on this website hard to use, or you need information in a different format, please tell us. Email hello@balancedview.co.uk or call 0161 513 4133, and tell us the page and what went wrong. We will look into it and reply.
If you are not satisfied
If you are not happy with how we respond, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com.
